Hello. My name is Mark, and I am a Marriage and Family therapist candidate as well as a Licensed Professional counselor candidate. I live in north Denver with my wife and our 2 dogs. We have 3 daughters, all in their early to mid-20s. I am a native of Denver, though I have lived in other places over the years. But Colorado is my home, and I love living here. I worked in corporate America for 26 years and decided to make a late career change. I am honored to do this work.

My hope is that I am able to help couples, individuals, and families on their journey to being more authentic, vulnerable, open, and fulfilled – forming deeper and more meaningful relationships with others, and themselves. Life is full of twists and turns, and the human condition is present in all of us. Whatever goal you have for yourself, your family, or your personal relationships, I would like to help, in whatever way I can.

From a theoretical perspective, as it relates to families, relationships, and individuals, I believe in the power of increased self-awareness as a means to creating change. As a counselor I am not the expert in your life, you are. What I try and do is provide a second set of eyes and ears as we talk through whatever troubles you. To the extent we can make more congruent our ideal self and real self, the more successful we will be in creating and sustaining the change you are looking for.

On a personal note, I like to cook and travel with my wife. I enjoy the Denver arts and music scene as well as all Denver professional sports. I have been known to use a sports analogy or five. If I have some spare time, breaking away to play golf, go on a hike, or go skiing is always fun.
