Hi! I’m Kayla, a masters’-level clinical therapy intern from the University of Colorado Denver. I am committed to helping my clients heal and find meaning in their lives.

I moved to Colorado in 2019 and found a love for rock climbing. My greatest lesson from learning to climb has been the importance of presence. Just as I need to bring my full focus and awareness to every movement of the climb, I strive to do the same in the therapy room to create a space that allows you to feel understood, accepted, and supported. I start by building a relationship with you that is built on intimacy and strength and then tailor my approach to your unique needs in order to meet your goals and desires for treatment.

As a reformed New Yorker, my style is authentic, direct, and warm. I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and combine humanistic principles, attachment theory, experiential techniques and mindfulness tools. I take great pride in working with my clients to strengthen the relationships with themselves and others.
