My name is Kate, and I want to help you reach your mental health and wellness goals. Whether you are an individual suffering from depression or a couple looking to improve your relationship, I offer counseling tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. My focus is on helping your inner, authentic self feel heard while helping you process your pain through self-discovery and compassion.
I am a graduate-level intern specializing in systemic therapy. This means that whether you are seeking counseling as an individual or part of a couple or family, we will work together to address the issue or problem you bring to therapy while also peeling back the layers of the problem to understand how it happened – and prevent it from happening again. I have additional training in spiritual counseling which I am happy to offer to those clients who find meaning in religion and spirituality; however, it is by no means an obligatory part of therapy and I will only provide it upon individual client request.
A little bit about me: I was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota, where I developed a love of snowshoeing and strong, hot coffee. I spent a few years living in Scotland and Boston before moving to Colorado about five years ago. My fiance and I live with our rescue dog, Lucie, and spend most of our free time giving into her constant demand for attention.
