Hello! I am Carolina, I am a master’s level intern pursuing a Couples and Family Therapy degree at the University of Colorado Denver. One of my greatest joys lies in helping individuals create a desired change and form an empowering relationship within themselves and their loved ones.
As we walk though your life’s journey, my focus is to help and support my clients to foster self-acceptance, navigate life transitions, develop meaningful connections, and utilize existing qualities as tools when faced with challenging obstacles. My aim is to bring a safe and comfortable space that will allow you and your loved ones to feel seen, heard, and understood. When it comes to working with individuals, couples, and families, my hope is to transform disharmony and disconnection into compassion, trust, and unity. My approach to therapy is narrative therapy, transgenerational family therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, but will work closely with you and cater my approach to meet your ultimate goals.
During my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with family, cooking, and trying out new restaurants. I also speak both English and Spanish. I welcome you with care and compassion into a new healing journey.
